The training wall is not complete yet and has not been handed over by the contractor. Until this happens no teams or individuals are permitted to use the area. Team mentors are asked to tell their players that they are absolutely forbidden to use it. An official opening date and timetable for use will issue shortly.

The Féile girls team will have a busy weekend starting on Friday with a Juvenile Disco for children aged 6 to 12 and a Cake Sale on Saturday morning. Make sure you fill  your pockets with buns and cakes and help send this worthy fundraiser.


Mother's Day will be celebrated in Áras Bharróg with food by Kanum Thai Restaurant and music later on by acoustic duo Orion. Booking will be essential so contact the clubhouse on 8396963.


Naomh Barróg Easter Camps start with football on Monday 10th and running to Thursday 13th April and camogie/hurling from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st April. The FINAL day for registration is Saturday the 8th of April.


The Lip Sync Battles will take place in June and we are currently recruiting contestants. All funds raised will go towards the upgrading of our all-weather pitch. All enquiries to Liam Byrne.


The Naomh Barróg Golf Society season is coming around very soon again with the 1st outing on April 7th to Beaverstown. The Annual Sports Quiz will be held in the Club on Friday March 31st with John Whelan as Quizmaster. Tables of 4 cost €20.

On Monday 17th April, aka Easter Monday, Áras Bharróg will be the venue for Sheila McArdle’s play-of-the-book ‘1916: Red-Letter Day’. The curtain rises at 3pm so get their early. See for updates... booking link to follow there also.


Mini Leagues resume this Saturday at 10am. The club shop is open for business between 9:30am and 12:00pm on Saturday mornings and the Registration Committee will also be there to take Easter Camp registrations and membership fees.


Membership fees are now due and the No Pay – No Play rule will be enforced.


Our Mentor’s meeting continues this Wednesday at 9pm. We need all teams represented.


Tickets for Dublin vs Roscommon this Saturday will be available for collection on THURSDAY night only from 8pm. If you want tickets for the Dublin vs Kilkenny match in Parnell Park on Sunday please contact Joe Potter or Tony Canning directly


Joe Barry was the one lucky winner of last week’s Lotto Jackpot; numbers drawn were 6, 10, 18 & 21. This week’s Jackpot will be €1,000.
